Get the grades. Get the life.
Live the dream.
Imagine the following:
You wake up on a Monday morning, feeling rested after a good night’s sleep and still remembering the great time you had with friends on Saturday night. You met today’s submission deadline three days ago, and have already started working on your next assignment. You know exactly what you need to get done today, without even having to check your diary. And the best part?
You are looking forward to the work.

Are you...
struggling to find motivation to improve your grades or get onto a course of your choice?
unsure about which course or subjects to take to align with your hopes for life after studying? (yes, it exists!)
in need of an extra boost to get onto your dream course/excel at your current one?
combining your studies with other commitments and trying to make the most of limited time?
working hard, but not achieving the results you’re hoping for?
If any of this sounds like you, I can help.
Steering you towards your top performance
It’s easy to get bogged down by the multitude of demands that studying puts on you, especially if you have other things going on in your life. You can lose sight of the big picture and doubt your every move! Having a coach steer you through these challenges can be a game-changer. Believe me when I say that studying can be consistently enjoyable, if you…
are self-motivated
have a clear goal in mind
organise your time wisely
bounce back after setbacks
If you’re struggling, chances are one or more of these elements aren’t in place. Whether you are looking for a way to pass your exams, or hoping to excel in them to reach a dream destination, we will work together to achieve the results you need and want - and I promise you will still have time left over to enjoy life! (Otherwise, what’s the point?)
I know what an investment studying is for you, and how important it is to get returns. This is why my coaching programme is designed especially for students and based on these four key steps:
1. Purpose
2. Goal
3. Focus
4. Resilience
FAQ
What skills will I gain from study coaching?
You will gain key transferable skills such as setting realistic goals, prioritising, resisting procrastination, limiting distractions, learning from failure, and thinking flexibly.
How are study skills transferable skills?
Every new course or job you do demands a considerable amount of learning, be it operating with new concepts or just figuring out the filing system. The better you are at learning, the sooner you will figure out how to get really good at what you’re doing!
How much time do I have to commit?
That depends on you and your expectations of yourself! The coaching packages range from three hours to six months. The coaching integrates into your daily life, so rather than seeing it as an additional commitment, think of it as a framework underpinning what you already do.
Shouldn’t I just hire a subject tutor?
There are times in your life when subject tutors can be very useful: they help you understand material from a specific subject, so if, for instance, you’ve missed a lot of contact teaching time, a subject tutor will help you fill in the gaps. But if your difficulties are not limited to one subject, this suggests a systemic issue, such as a lack of motivation or direction, susceptibility to distractions, or struggles with time management. Whatever your particular situation, I help you transform your mindset and methods in all that you study, which boosts your performance throughout and saves you money in the long run. It also improves your confidence and enables you to use the same skills on whatever you’ll be learning in the future.
Can study coaching help me with my A-levels?
Your A-Levels are the perfect time to begin developing as an independent learner. You suddenly have so much autonomy, and no idea how to use it! Many people find this overwhelming. If you develop effective independent study habits, such as tackling avoidance and honing your concentration powers, you are much more likely to achieve academic success in school and beyond. My work with A-Level students cultivates these essential skills and fosters your self-confidence as a learner - just in time for university!
Can study coaching help me with uni?
Everyone tells you university is the best time of your life, but it can also be one of the most frustrating! The expectation that you will become master of your own time is often combined with a gaping absence of guidance. It can take years of trial and error to find the routines, methods, and strategies that allow you to do your best work - all while dealing with information overload, an unprecedented lack of structure, and endless distractions. Having written three Master’s dissertations, I know how you feel! I work with you to visualise your longer-term goals and establish medium-term priorities. In addition to practising self-awareness to develop efficient routines, you get equipped with personalised tools for maintaining motivation in the face of inevitable setbacks. Before you know it, you will be cool, calm, collected, and content (yes, content!) to be working away on your coursework.
